Arabic (the only homework this week) Here in JPS, our Arabic teachers are consistently using various helping tools to facilitate learning Arabic by making the educational process easier for students. This time they have created Arabic magazines for Y1 to Y6 students where you can find headlines of what they have learned previously, news of term 3 goals and a list of great vocabulary for the new topics. It is an entry point for our students to access the curriculum and their daily lesson targets. By introducing the new vocabulary, the students will have a chance to be actively engaged in their learning and to be freely exposed to a variety of words. There are three groups of words in Y3 –Y6. Easier to start with the red group, if they feel confident they can move on to the blue till they reach the gold. In this way the students will build a better vocabulary. Help your child build a rich vocabulary and this will boosts comprehension, improves achievement, enhances communication, shapes thinking and most importantly gives them the readiness in their classrooms to move further with their learning.
